Capturing a Moment Where Art Meets Leadership

This immersive fusion of one of the world’s best business schools with the country’s most iconic art museum was an expansive canvas for storytelling. Our task was to document the flavor of the experience, creatively combining scholarly insight, cultural reflection, and visual inspiration into a video narrative.

What We Delivered

SN Media Services, in partnership with Yale’s faculty and program leaders, produced a documentary-style short video focusing on:

  • Faculty-led conversations within
  • The MET’s galleries Student reflections and group conversations
  • Thematic links between fine art and leadership theory
  • The unique learning environment within a museum space.

From smooth tracking shots through marble hallways to close-ups of students responding to classical and contemporary art, it was a privilege to film in such a rich life with so much depth and elegance.

A Unique Filming Environment

Filming inside The MET took not only creative vision, but also precision and sensitivity to the museum’s procedures. Fortunately, our production team is trained and experienced, and we captured valuable footage without interrupting the museum experience of the space or the visitors.

We worked collaboratively with:

  • Yale SOM Administrators and faculty
  • MET Security and Operations staff
  • Museum educators and docents

We tried our best to minimize disruption, follow timed schedules, and exhibit technical excellence; there is no shortage of quality video in this documentation, but every effort was to maintain the experience for participants and patrons.

Educational Storytelling at Its Finest

This project exemplifies the kind of intentional story telling SN Media Services believes in: content that connects domains, encompasses human experience, and furthers institutional mission.

The final video was used by Yale SOM to:

  • Showcase innovative ways to teach leadership
  • Express distinctive qualities of their student experience
